Who are we?
The Dispute Resolution Center of Yakima and Kittitas Counties has been helping people resolve conflicts since 1984. Eighty percent of the people voluntarily using our services reach a settlement.
What is the DRC?
We are a non-profit agency that works closely with the courts, law enforcement, public and private agencies, and people experiencing conflict. The Washington State Legislature approved the DRC concept in 1984.
What does the DRC offer?
We offer residents who are involved in disputes an alternative to going to court. Our services include mediation, meeting facilitation, phone conciliation, and conflict resolution and negotiation training.
